Best album of the year?

My favourite album is Opeth - Deliverance, but "Irony is a Dead Scene" by The Dillinger Escape Plan is my favourite record of 2002(it's only an EP).

I totally agree. Except for my favorite album I'd have Hate Eternal's King of All Kings

i think King of all Kings is a good album...

but its alot less technical and as intresting as the first one...

(WHERE ARE THE SOLO"S!)
i mean i know they lost doug but still... eric can do some solos.

i say the new nile is better then the new hate eternal if it was the first hate eternal it would be a close call.

I find it to be better than the first one. The riffs are more in your face. Plus there's solos in the songs, but I think they just cut back the number of solos per song because they only have one guitarist now, and they don't need a lot of solos to write good songs.

Arcturus-Sham Mirrors
The Crown-Crowned in Terror
Blind Guardian-A night at the opera

and well...Nile's album is not that good(not a big Nile fan)

Hate Eternals - King Of All Kings
Shadows Fall - The Art of Balance
Origin - Informis, Infinitas, Inhumanitas
Nile - In Their Darkened Shrines
Norma Jean - Bless The Martyr and Kiss the Child
