Happy to see Pallbearer make those lists. I'd say it's the best thing I've heard all year, but I haven't been keeping up either.

Incurso was fighting hard for spot 5, and that might change at the end of the year. I don't see torture getting top 10 by the end of the year for me. The Inherited Repression was plainly put, utter disappointment imo. Need to listen to Gorod.

Ye, Ob(servant) is my favorite Psycroptic album, so The Inherited Repression was pretty much a disappointment for me aswell... but still a good album regardless and better than most of the stuff that has come out this year.

Torture is probably the finest slab of 100% pure death metal released this year so far.

Im really enjoying the new SoP and Gorod albums, need plenty of more listens before i can decide which one i like more.

Gah, I don't even remember Sedition's actual release date, is it even a Q1 release? =s. I've been consuming so much new music at a pace of a month or two ahead of time lately that i'm getting lost.

^ Hell's Headbangers have both CD and LP versions of the new Christian Mistress. It's a Relapse release, and it's a Great Album.
