Best Albums.

I decided to pick one from each letter in the alphabet!

U... couldn't think of a band worth mentioning
X - see the letter "U"
Y - see the letter "X" Y? I don't know.
Z - "z" the letter "Y"

:headbang:

Let me see if I can help:

Uriah Heep - "Demons And Wizards"
Xentrix - "For Whose Advantage?"
Yes - "Tormato"
Znowhite - "Act Of God"
:D

I'll try to keep this briefer than Wyvern's list:

Sword - Metalized

Wow, you surprised me with your Tull choice Soundmaster. Not because it is anything but a completely fantastic record (which it most certainly is), but simply because I thought you'd pick Heavy Horses or Thick as a Brick....

Interesting. Anyway, Benefit rules, but that's the thing with Tull...so VERY many absolutely fantastic albums and eras, and each (generally speaking) as different from the next as it is the last....Ian Anderson is the man, that's all there is to it.

My top five looks something like this:

Thick as a Brick
Songs from the Wood
Minstrel in the Gallery
Aqualung
Benefit or Stand Up

But then again, there is also War Child, Heavy Horses, and so on and on. Really, one of the most consistent back catalogues in rock...

Tull 'cycles' for me. At times, the 'heavy wood' era (Songs, Horses, **********) is my fav; at other times, the proggy albums (Brick, Passion) rule. Currently, however, it's all about their early blues-folk hybrid that's dominating! Benefit & Stand Up contain ZERO filler....just great, unique records from a criminally underrated band!! :worship: :worship:
