Best AMP for metal? (I'm not a guitar player)

Oh if he can afford a Recto Standard 4x12, then IMO that's the last cab he'll ever need, I was just going by budget! (though I got my Recto cab for $480, and the average used price is ~$550 or so, scour craigslist like a fiend!)

And now that I see you found a 5150 for under $500, I guess a 4x12 is a viable option after all

Get the 5150. Ermz said he didn't love the Burgera in comparison, if you need an outside opinion. I don't have any first hand accounts, unfortunately.

Gerard made a great job, Lolzgreg need a NOS for his collection imo:lol:

Sounds pretty bitchin'.

After my Savage, I'm done though. I've played every amp I've ever seen or heard of that was "worth trying" and I think I have the best of all worlds as I currently stand.

I wish I could justify dropping a load on a Fortin right now. They're super expensive, and I'm gonna have to do some more reamping before I can afford one of those :goggly:

A Wizard Modern Classic, a Fortin of some sort, and those NOS Amps seem pretty darned awesome, though.
