I thought the balance of power and progressive metal bands at ProgPower this year was great (notice how the P is capitalized in both Prog and Power, this never was and never will be a prog only festival).......any more progressive bands and it would get too boring. Not that I don't like progressive metal, I love it, but if progressive bands dominated, we'd all fall asleep around 9:30. I think the reason for the headliners being mostly power metal (although I agree with markgugs that Angra and Blind Guardian are rather progressive anyway) is the fact that there aren't as many prog acts that could headline a show, because power metal is the more popular of the two styles, period. The only prog act on par in poplularity with BG and Gamma Ray is probably Dream Theater, and I hope they never are even considered for ProgPower, because we can see them here in the states enough anyway.
