I really really really wish "Crimson" wasn't one track.

^haha

one-track albums are good and bad...one album's track layout i really wish was different is diabolical masquerade "death's design" because splitting it up like that is so unnecessary, it could be 10 tracks instead of 60 and then there wouldn't be a noticeable pause every fifteen seconds when i listen on my computer :zombie:

I actually wish most of my CDs were 1-track only, fuck the philistines who can't pay attention to ALBUMS. :kickass:

no i dig that, but the thing is you don't always have time to listen to the whole thing....i'll put it on and have to turn it off halfway through 90% of the time, and then you get sick of the beginning part without having heard the end much at all...and i'm not gonna sit there and fast forward to a random part, that defeats the purpose

kinda like panopticon, not a one-tracker but it should be...i've put it on so many times with the intention of listening front to back and had to turn it off that i'm really kinda sick of "so did we" :erk:

it's still >yuo though :kickass:

yeah, read this on Paul's site the other day ...

Scald Vermiculatus: A brief summary.
Vermiculatus is Scald's most experimental, innovative and un-commercial project to date. The work consists of a singular album length instrumental track, the first section of which is performed by the band and is a complex composition of no repeated parts, followed by the closing section, which is an ambient reconstruction of the performance part.
This is accompanied on the CD by a short animated film (Vermiculatus B1) with a further reconstructed soundtrack. This is not a promotional video; instead it is an integral facet to the work and concept as a whole.
The limited edition oversized 6 panel digifolder packaging will be lavish and the artwork will be free from graphics and text.

i am really curious on the "no repeated parts" ... this will be a challenging listen.

and I just realized I am wearing the shirt while the disc is nowhere on the horizon .. this must be an industry first :loco:

I voted for several albums though, good choices.

funny you should list those. Terrorizer calls those two albums death metal at its most commercial. [/nate]

I could see that with Carcass, it's a bit streamlined and nearly catchy at times. Not so sure about Domination though, hmm. Maybe Terrorizer just said that because both albums were on major labels. :loco:

I voted for Altars of Madness and The Rack, but only because Onward to Golgotha wasn't on the list. Doomcifer, where your mind at, nigga?
