Best Deathcore Bands

I've heard alot more pig vocals in brutal death metal dude.

On a serious note... not THAT many deathcore bands pigsqueal from what I've heard... And I've like to think I've heard quite a bit. The emo kid vocals alot of the bands deliver irk me though.

Pig vocals in DC died out about 2 years ago, and only a handful of bands used them. the only band i can think of that actually used them tastefully were misericordiam.

there is no need or use for deathcore tbh. I don't really see why one would overwhelmingly opt to listen to something which is sort of death metal but infused with horrible pig vocals and breakdowns instead of the typical dissonant thrash-infused fare and flexible technicality that actual death metal offers. It's just a very blatant example of people picking the obvious poor choice.
Some people like pig vocals and breakdowns more than thrash. I know I usually like a good breakdown over a thrash or technical riff. It's not like it's a math equation. That said I don't tend to like fusion genres so I'd rather just listen to straight hardcore and straight death metal than both mixed together.

But what I mean is the way hardcore does breakdowns for example is = annoying fail. If I were to relate more...let's maybe say why would you choose deathcore over slam death? The latter already does a lot of things the former attempts much better and less full of trend and fail. Why is there a need to throw 'core' into every form of 'extreme' music? I suppose it could be akin to if for example I wanted to toss a ripping solo into a Britney Spears song, but again..........this modern hardcore ninja kicking stuff that deathcore derives from...what's good about it to where anyone would prefer it? I'm honestly not trying to be so objective, I literally can't help it, the music is just so bad.

tbh, this thread is fucking useless on the basis that Deathcore blows for the most part...

I dont like black metal for the most part... hardly a reason to say the black metal thread is useless. Same thing.

Now that I look at this... it makes more sense.

Whitechapel is more death metal than alot of deathcore bands. Alot of people here like death metal more (in general) than deathcore... so... it should be somewhat obvious people will pick up on them... I think. :hypno:

whitechapel have more deicide influence than any band needs, dont get me wrong i like deicide but no band should ever be unfluenced by them.

and get off my dick alter i like veil of maya

Everyone who mentioned Job For A Cowboy is either a douchebag or either his tastes can suck my ass. Hopefully no one mentioned JFAC since I had not read the whole thread.

Anyway Whitechapel kicks ass and Zubrowska is also good. I rarely listen to deathcore or metalcore because I hate most of the breakdowns, most of them tries to be brutal and cool but nearly all attempts are fucking miserable.

I do not consider Despised Icon as a deathcore or metalcore band.

I like hardcore breakdowns. I tend to prefer slam death breakdowns but that's where I started from. Hardcore breakdowns tend to be slower and more pounding rather than groovy or catchy and I can see people preferring that.
