Avenged Sevenfold is metalcore??? I don't know about that. They blow nuts. The only thing I kinda give them a drop of credit for is they brought guitar solos to FM radio. Besides that fuck 'em, but they're not metalcore.

Sucide Silence is a fucking abysmal shit band, but they are metal. To state otherwise is retarded. No matter how much one hates generic deathcore the shit's still metal.

I don't think I've ever heard The Devil Wears Prada. My 14 year old nephew mentioned them to me & their name would imply that they're a poser band, so I'm not interested.

I'm pretty sure I saw them (I was at NEHMF, Overkill pulled out, although no one announced it, and some dudes took their place, I think it might have been the Red Chord, but they didn't say their name). If so, they were pretty good.

They sound like hard rock with old school metal influences, fronted by a talentless asshole. Also, their names are ridiculous.

I almost saw them on Sounds of the Underground but then I didn't go. Probably a good thing; I would have had to sit through about 10 metalcore bands before the band I wanted to see (can't remember if it was Amon Amarth or Shadows Fall).

I saw The Red Chord with JFAC and Cannibal Corpse last year. They were pretty good IMO. The vocalist said their guitarist was leaving the band and all that and he got everyone shouting "what the fuck." It was pretty funny.
