Have metalcore and deathcore gone beyond death metal?

Death metal these days has gotten dry and stale. The old school bands are on their way out the door the only people who listen to them anymore are the hardcore fans. Deathcore and metalcore are simply reviving the old style and making it fresher imo I don't understand why people can't be more open minded and accept newer genres of music.

How many bands can remake the same record over and over again? I just wanna know what you guys think. I'll probably get a ton of hate for this but whatever fuck it.

Are you fucking retarded? Metalcore and deathcore are so overdone, Im just waiting for them to go out of style (not unlike what happened to nu metal). Every band is the exact same, there is nothing "fresh" about it. Whereas real death metal will never go out of style. And every band is not the same. There are obvious differences between bands like Opeth, Morbid Angel, Suffocation, and Lykathea Aflame. Can you say the same about those shitty core bands? I think not.

I actually think that there's more blast beats and random guitar wanking in deathcore, or technical deathcore anyway.

I prefer old school death metal myself, a little bit more substance.
