Nile-Amongst the Catacombs of Nephra-Ka
*thinks*
There are a whole lot a debut albums I like but I'm not going to post because I am too lazy.

LoL, yes dude, I know all about Kill I Oughta, but i'm talking major label dude! i'm talking wide-scale release, not independent ones! AND one COULD consider it an EP, and not a full album. (it IS damn short, it MUST be a demo!)

So in that light, it's ok dude! I consider L.D. 50 their debut! And it does kick ass! Doesn't it? =) :spin:

Oh yeah, I forgot to add Blood Red Throne's Monument Of Death. I think that's got the biggest selection of my favourite death metal riffing ever. certainly some of the catchiest imo!

:goggly: I love that smilel, it's all goggley-like :goggly:

Oppressor - Solstice of Oppression
Insision - Beneath The Folds of Flesh
Immolation - Dawn of Possession
Exodus - Bonded By Blood
Testament - The Legacy
Suffocation - Effigy of The Forgotten
Gorguts - The Erosion of Sanity

And for some of you morons, heres a little help:

Nile debut: "Festivals of Atonement"
Dying Fetus debut: "Purification Through Violence"
Vehemence debut: "Thoughts From Which I Hide"
Morbid Angel debut: "Abomination of Desolation"

Someone really has his head up his ass:rolleyes:

Nile's full length debut album is Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren Ka, thank you and shut the fuck up before looking so moronic.

Ps. If you need any more proof check the Nile website.

Ummmmm, yeah, assbag. Its their RELAPSE debut, not their debut. "Festivals of Atonement" was put out back in 1995 when they were on Anubis Records, which is their initial debut, you revisionist prick. I'm sorry you're too much of a moronic poserdork to realize it. You are the weakest link. Good-bye.

UH OH!! Here comes a dorky reply filled with 9000 rolling eyes smilies. Ooooooooh, can't wait.

bahahahaha for someone that's over 20, you post some of the most childlish insults i've ever heard  . It's funny that you accuse me of being a revisionist, yet you are trying to pick little things to look like a smartass. Those are fucking EP's smart guy:rolleyes: now i'm assuming the thread starter is asking for FULL length debut albums, and you know my response. Anything more to say, music guru?

Things really began to gel in 1996 when, after recording and shopping three new songs, they landed a deal with upstart label Visceral Productions and began recording their debut full-length in addition to adding second guitarist Dallas Toler-Wade.

However, the deal would not last as Visceral folded in late 1997. Relapse Records swiftly stepped into the picture and, after hearing the record and witnessing the band's live show, a deal was struck and the two prepared for the release of NILE's debut FULL-length Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka.

Straight from the source, it doesn't get any better than that.

Yes, and the overuse of the rolling eyes smilies in place of anything relevant to say, much like an 11 year old girl does, is the epitome of maturity and adulthood. I'm sorry if you can't understand FACTS when presented to you, seeing as "Festivals" was not an EP, as it is over 30 minutes long, which would make it a FULL LENGTH. The number of songs on a tracklist does not determine whether its a full length or an EP, otherwise Opeth have been putting out quite a few EP's, "smartguy". And I was not including the "Ramses Bringer of War" EP when talking about "Festivals of Atonement", which leads me to believe that you only think of "Festivals" as "In The Beginning", which is a total internet poser thing to do.

Consider yourself OWNED.

Your arrogance amuses me

Who says so? you?

See? the band themselves consider Catacombs their full lenght debut album.

Even AFTER they made Festivals it says they began recording their debut full-lenght album.

Got any more insults

Your insults don't help either, who's the mature guy now eh?

Edit:
And I was not including the "Ramses Bringer of War" EP when talking about "Festivals of Atonement", which leads me to believe that you only think of "Festivals" as "In The Beginning", which is a total internet poser thing to do.

You just called me a poser:cry: that statement alone proves the big judgemental ignorant that you are. In The Beggining is a compilation of both albums and i'm very aware of that, thank you.

Ps. Dude you are so troo and wise, you wanna be my friend?

Although I probably shouldn't get involved with either of your bickering, this is the original post in this thread. Notice it does not say "full-length" debut.

IMO, the term full-length debut always sounded like a record company ploy to reintroduce an existing band. A debut can be a single as far as I'm concerned.
