The best concert I have ever been to was Hellfest 04 in Elizabeth NJ. Some of the bands there were pretty hardcore. but the best part was there was like no security and no one gave a crap what you did, everyone just had fun. The Misfits were the last act, it was freaking awsome. They played all the classic Danzig era songs (none of that graves era garbage) and a couple black flag songs too. The best part was people were getting up on stage and grabbing the mic, singing along etc. and no body cared. Me and my friend got up a couple times, it was pretty cool standing next to Jerry Only belting out the lyrics to Green Hell. Greatest day of my life :heh:

For me that was the Roskilde Festival 1994 in Denmark. 4 days, 117 bands (some of them: Accept, Sepultura, ZZ Top, Mercyful Fate, Rage against the Machine, Aerosmith, Clawfinger, Peter Gabriel, Levellers and many more) with friends (we were group of 12 people), people from all over the Europe, a lot of beer, a lot of girls, great weather. Nothing really special happened, it was just the mix of it all that made it special and completely unforgettable.
I go to more-day open air festivals every year, but nothing can top Roskilde. :kickass:

Dark Tranquillity in Antwerp on Dec 8, 2005.

It was the day Taliesin and I met, and the first concert we went to together. Lots of cuddling also!

Awwwwww. :)

One of my first enjoyable concerts was at the 8x10 in Baltimore with Dying Fetus, and Next Step up. I'd been to larger venues for bigger metal bands, but the 8x10 show (a little hole in the wall bar) was a blast. The vibe from the people and bands were awesome.

None, :erk:. I wanted to go see Velvet Revolver (just for Slash, screw the other members) at Pimlico race course (in Baltimore) last month but couldn't.

I did see this one band called "The Junkyard Saints" (who are from Baltimore) at this park near my house called Centennial park. They were really good. I wondered why they weren't famous, they probably just weren't "in" enough. They had a good singer/keyboardist who sounded almost exactly like Eric Clapton and they had a great guitarist, and saxophone player, they were Jazzy and Bluesy Rock.

^ slash is the man

Yeah, he should've stayed with GN'R, but I dunno, the Use Your Illusion albums were somewhat of a dissapointment compared to Appetite For Desctruction. I loved every song on Appetite For Destruction, but on the Use Your Illusion albums I liked all the songs but not as much as the ones on Appetite For Destruction, the best ones on those albums were Don't Cry, November Rain, Bad Obsessin, and Garden of Eden. I dunno if their next album would've been that great even if Slash was still with GN'R. I like how with Velvet Revolver Slash sorta went back to the sound he had on Appetite For Destruction, but still not as good, And I don't like the other members of Velvet Revolver that much. They don't really deserve Slash, and would be nothing without him.

Sweet, I wish I lived in the 80's. Appetite is my favorite album of all time.

I am a spawn of the 80's. Fucking Skid row man, YEAH BABY!

F&F; If you want to see a good show around Baltimore, check out "The Sidebar" on East Lexigton St Downtown. It's a real small bar but has a great vibe to it.

I'm 14, it would look weird if I was in a bar.

From the riff that starts at 1:00 in 'One By One' by Immortal till the end of the song and into the next song I crowd surfed all to the front at Wacken. Seeing Municipal Waste in a small venue owned too.

I don't know if I would want to drink, I don't need alcohol to have fun. A lot of kids who are Freshmans like me hear the older kids talking about drinking and think its so cool, a lot of the popular kids in my grade try talking to older kids who think they are fags. Its so stupid.
