before you buy do yourself a favor and check these

AKG 701

the detail and imaging is superb and very deep. I've been down this road (price wasn't an object) and I ended up with the 701. the phones are just excellent.

I was looking for phones that sound very similar to my listening environment. the 701 comes very close.

see if you can do a side-by-side with the others listed... you'll come away with the 701... guaranteed.
