Turbo defiently had it's cheesy moments, and the synths are kinda hard to stomach at first (though I liked them), but if you give the album a chance, it'll grow on you. Turbo Lover, Locked In, Hot For Love, and Reckless rather if you like 'em or not, are all classic songs in their own right.

And as for Ram It Down, I do agree. It is one of their weaker albums, though it's still better than Point of Entry, in my humble opinion.

parental guidance is cool too. point of entry (most of the 80's for that mater) was too commericial imo. i like the 70's stuff and painkiller- AoR better than the 80's stuff. anyone who denies the awesomeness of the ripper albums is deaf

Turbo is a bit more commercial sounding than Point of Entry, but at least they sound like they actually tried on Turbo. More than half of the songs on Point of Entry either sound boring (Troubleshooting, Solar Angels, Turning Circles), or just plain stupid (You Say Yes, All the Way).

In conclusion, Turbo is better, because it's fun to listen to without sounding dumb. It's a nice party album.

Troubleshooter and All The Way are awesome songs. If you think they are some how less dumb than Rock You All Around the World or Parental Guidance, you should seek help.

Rock You All Around the World has a very cheesy chorus, but other than that, both of those songs you mentioned are pretty good.

To me, until the Painkiller album, they made some of the worst videos ever. That's why it's no crime to me if good bands don't care, or bother to make videos at all. They're fun to watch for nostalgia, and laugh at...

i like glam and the album turbo but i'm not surprised it has 0 votes. by glam or priest standards its pretty weak. i can believe ram it down has 0 votes because i think thats the worst priest album ever except for blood red skies and the title track

Ram it Down, sure its a bit cheesey but its a fun album IMO and Robs voice is in top form, there's not much I dont like about RIT but I'll admit there are a couple of tracks that let the album down. Hard as Iron, sharp as steel! Not sure why this song isn't appreciated more by others...

The "Breaking the Law" video is a pretty awesome piece of dry British humour...

The cheesiest is Hot Rockin'. The band is working out with weights! At the end of the video, where they light the mike on fire...boy oh boy! Head out to the Highway...it's funny how "fast" K.K. and Glenn are racing...

hot rockin is the worst

And the part where Halford tries to look tough, when throwing a scoop of water on the "hot rocks" in the sauna...oooooh!! Watch out!!

Now that I've actually heard a good amount of Priest's stuff, I'm gonna vote for Sad Wings of Destiny followed by Screaming for Vengeance. The former is by far their most creative album that I've heard (it's almost like they got progressively less mature from that point onward), and although SfV does indeed have some filler, the better songs on it are fucking incredible. Stained Class is close in third for me.

Know how I know you're gay?

Stained Class is close in third for me.

Hey, I was dissing Painkiller even when it was the only album I'd heard:

I've only heard Painkiller so far, and I found that to be thoroughly mediocre aside from "Leather Rebel". I'm sure their earlier stuff must be better, so I'm reserving judgment on them until I've heard the '70s albums.
