learning finnish will be harder than i thought :D

Q, I found this somewhere last night. Is it actually right?
The Joys of Finnish:
"Kokko, Kokoon koko kokko." ("Kokko, gather together the whole bonfire.")
"Kokoko kokko?" ("The _whole_ bonfire?")
"Koko kokko, Kokko." ("The whole bonfire, Kokko.")

Yeah, that seems to be quite clear finnish :D
though "Koko kokkoko?" sounds better to me than "Kokoko kokko"?

this is even longer and as correct as previous ones: -"Kokko, kokoo koko kokko kokoon!"

Have a nice time learning finnish :)

edit: there's some of those... http://www.uebersetzung.at/twister/fi.htm

To stay in topic:

Keksijä Keksi keksi keksin.
Keksittyään keksin keksijä Keksi
keksi keksin keksityksi.

Translation: "Inventor Keksi invented a cookie. After inventing a cookie Inventor Keksi Ivented that cookie had been invented"

Saima sai maata läheltä Saimaata.
Sai maata ja katsella Saimaata.

Translation: Saima got land near Saimaa. She was able to lay and watch Saimaa" (Saimaa is a lake in Finland)

Kas vain, sanoi kasvain ja kasvoi vain.
Vain kasvain voi kasvaa noin vain.

Transl: "Oh, said tumour and only grew.
Only a tumour can grow like that.

This is what happens when you make only little mistakes in your text:

Tulepas Kalle Kustaan ikkunan alle.
Translation: "Come under Kalle Kustaa's window"

Tulepas Kalle, kustaan ikkunan alle.
Translation: "Come on Kalle, let's piss under the window"

Tule paskalle Kustaan ikkunan alle.
Translation: "Come and crap under Kustaa's window"

Tule paskalle, kustaan ikkunan alle.
Translation: "Come to crap, let's piss under the window"

Armoa,ei vankilaan!
Mercy, no prison!

Armoa ei, vankilaan!
No mercy, to the prison!

I think that's enough for now :p translations are made by me so there will most likely be some mistakes.

Going back to what Fleischwolf was saying earlier about nazis and what not.. the fact some are STILL having their gay bullshit movements makes me want to rethink the idea of getting the German flag inked on my arm.

I dont support bands who are nazis or rascist or any of that shit. I dont want my hard-earned money going to those pieces of shit. Those fucking losers drag down our entire society, and are no better than the coward fundamentalist islams responsible for murdering my friends [Im a NYer]. Thanks, but no thanks.. music is music... beliefs are beliefs... a gimmick is a gimmick. I'll buy an Eminem CD.. because he DOESNT hate homosexuals.. it's a gimmick.. it's his gag, his joke.. if he hated them.. he wouldnt kick it with Elton John. Varg hates Christians... and thus, is a piece of shit.

J

you want to get a german flag tattoed on your arm? why that? are you of german descent?
well, eminem is a piece of shit, i hate this whole gangsta rap image, what fucking retarts! varg is at least a smart guy, even though he has some radical points!

@Qsilver: :lol:
i didn't know finnish was so erm.. twisted :p

edit: i just remebered this
Minä tapaan sinut huomenna means 'I'll see you tomorrow' whereas Minä tapan sinut huomenna 'I'll kill you tomorrow'. :heh:

hahahahaaha I loved that Qsilver.....glad I don't want to learn Finnish by now :) and hope Swedish is not THAT difficult :)

Finnish has the weirdest, and most backward mechanics... lol. Swedish is fucking easy.

Fleischwolf, yeah, I've got german blood in me. I've got no hate with Eminem.. I hate on Limp Bizkit though

"Tuu kattoon kattoon, kun kaveri tapettiin tapettiin"
=Come to look on the ceiling when the buddy was killed on the wall (or something like that..)

"Haen lakkaa satamasta, kun lakkaa satamasta"
=I'll get some (I don't know the word) from the haven when it stops raining.

Finnish language was concealed in the state of the common finnish - beind drunken - so it seems at least... so the secret in understanding finnish is to get drunken in the Finnish lessons ;)

Well, Humpa does rule tho (Pronounciation?!?) hehe
