The idea behind this thread is "best" and I really find It hard to believe that Rick Allen is the best Drummer mentioned.

I prefer Nicholas Barker because his drumming sounds like drumming machine, equaly fast and equaly precise. Being a chubby fat ass doesn't bother him to be one of the greatest.

Yeah, I forgot gene hoglan. another one of my faves. Martin lopez is very solid and consistent, and his drumming is tasteful and virtuostic, but yet he's never blown me away. Neither has mike portnoy.

Chris Penne is also very good, I agree, but he doesn't seem as one of the greats. He seems very good but he seems to still be learning. I remember hearing that come to daddy, and thinking that despite how amazing it would sound to a typical person, it wasn't as good as a johnny rabb or other master of jungle style drumming. As for math, he isn't one of the greats at that either, and neither is he incredibly fast. I guess I find him overrated but still very good, just not great.

Fenriz, best drummer? Lol. Flo? Overrated as crap. That solo you posted was fast, sure, but it was uncreative and soulless, and it wasn't really technical, just fast. He is much better on the albums then on solo, but he still is overrated.
