As far as i was aware though, andy did some producing and mixing for bullet on both the demo and the poison album

The resissue of EOR comes to mind, because it's the only thing I've heard go from "not mixed by Andy" to "mixed by Andy". An amazing job was done.
And on the subject of Nevermore, I find TGE to be a prime example of a band and the right producer clicking; hell, I'd say it's along the lines of George Martin with the Beatles or Alan Parsons with Floyd. The planets aligned for that album- that's just the one.

There is something about Doomsday Machine, for sure. Dead Heart in a Dead World as well. Hard to pick a favorite, Andy is so consistent!

I have to agree with the guys that said 'The Gathering'. That's my favourite Andy mix too. Everything meshes so well, and it conveys a really strong sense of power. That, along with Nightrage's 'Sweet Vengeance' is my favourite metal mix!

I often throw "Doomsday Machine" into Winamp just to marvel at how downright awesome this album sounds. Drums are f'ing beautiful and the guitars just crunch and grind to no end. Amazing sounding stuff...
