Ah yes, forgot about Leech.

The above link Jerry provided is the only place you'll be able to find their stuff at this point... the label Woodsmoke is run by one of the band members.

In other news, it Skagos - Ást appears to be back in stock at Eternal Warfare already... odd considering he said he wouldn't be back from tour until the 9th when more would be printed.

In a fit of procrastination, I came up with this list.

working in a record store we take turns picking what plays on the stereo, and since they won't let me play metul except later at night i find myself picking all kinds of things i've heard and like but haven't heard enough of...neil young, zappa, dead moon, sonic youth, television, can, yes, all kinds of shit

For a long time I assumed that Just For A Day was their only good one. I was a dumbass.

5. TALKING HEADS - Fear Of Music

There is a party, everyone is there.
Everyone will leave at exactly the same time.
Its hard to imagine that nothing at all
Could be so exciting, and so much fun.

Heaven is a place where nothing ever happens.
Heaven is a place where nothing ever happens.

or

Where is that protection that I needed?
Air can hurt you too
Air can hurt you too
Some people say not to worry about the air
Some people never had experience with...

Air...Air

etc..

This is a very moving and clever record

fucking Kerbenok !!!
Mike Oldfield
Emma Myldenberger (and probably Radio Noisz Ensemble in the same bag)
Roy Harper
Ritual (love-filled gaze towards Doomcider)
Luror
Gnaw Their Tongues
Gaë Bolg
Iron Maiden

Miles Davis (electric period, first great quintet, Kind of blue.. orchestral miles etc.. :Smokedev:)
Coltrane (Giant Steps, My Favorite Things, Olé. These 3 only I'm really familiat with atm. 4 huuuge boxsets to discover :hotjump:)
Maxophone (delicious italian prog, my favorite from the genre)
Secret Chiefs 3 (Book of horizons is as good as most bungle albums, a complete must)

listening to all sorts of metal randomly from my hard-drive, not really focusing though

Discovered ADVERSARIAL recently, the Thralls demo is great. Other releases on Zombie Ritual are awesome like KATALYSATOR, BASTARD PRIEST, etc.

Dev, you haven't familiarized yourself with A Love Supreme yet?!~?!?! It will leave you speechless. You have yet to delve into Coltrane's "sheets of sound" sound and his straight up esoteric jams. The guy was flat out amazing.

You wanna hear a player that is just down right not of this world? ...Kadri Gopalnath , or just get Rudresh Mahanthappa's album Kinsmen with him. :kickass:

I do know A Love Supreme the same way I (thought I) knew Kind of Blue a year ago, to draw a clumsy parallel. I don't want to rush things. I got everything I need at arm's length and will spend the time that is needed to embrace the music. That's my Resolution ;)
