I really like Finntroll and Zyklon a lot.

Even though they are not "new", Eternal Tears of Sorrow are probably my favorite "newly discovered" band right now. The new one, Virgin and Whore, is amazing !

My Avatar is sexy And yeah Andromeda was incredible... but only 7 songs! doh! And i liked the vocals quite a bit... done by Lawrence Mackory formerly of Darkane.. he was just a session guy but i thought he did an amazing job. Apparently some people hated them though... i can't see why... MUCH better than the high pitched vocals normally associated with prog... that is the only thing about prog i don't like, the vocals. But oh well i can live with it

I really like Thales...the 4 songs I've heard. I've always wanted a purely instrumental metal band, and they pull it off well.
