Isolation Years reminds me of Dream Theater's Hollow Years. Hopefully Opeth have just ripped off that song because it was so damn good.

haha! kenneth, i was being completely sarcastic. while i won't say it was a *bad* song, it's disappointing to me.
in fact, FII left a dark stain on my music-listening experience. I went from being a huge fan through I&W, Awake, and ACoS to nearly crying upon my first listen to FII. but, i agree that ToT is pretty lame.

its catchiness and pop concise-ness was good. i have average expectations for octo, if its good, hurray, if not, i won't be too surprised. i still maintain ACoS and SFAM are their best without a doubt.

on topic: i wonder what the other song titles may be for new Opeth

ACoS was awesome. I always wished they wouldve left off the cover tunes and just made it the title track. But like Bangadrian said, Awake was incredible. In 1994, I was blown away. 11 years later, it still has influence on me.

The topic: song titles - don't know exactly but i've heard Mike has written songs about his obsession with the GTA games as well as one about us here on the forum. Part of the album art will be a montage of our pictures. Seriously.
