I just love when places and people make their year end list in November or first week of December...um the year isnt over yet. I always wait til the end of January to make mine. Theres still alot i havent heard and wont hear most likely, one example being the Convent Guilt album.

Convent Guilt is cool, but I wish they'd get a real set of lungs behind the mic. There's a fine line between Having Character vs. Not Being Able To Sing.

I have to agree with that. Trouble is it's such a particular thing; one man's shit is another's genius.

Keir nailed it when he said that it's "particular". Witchfinder General works for me, but Convent Guilt not so much. Somehow those NWOBHM bands with technically lousy singers just had more balls to me. Maybe it's the recording style.
