Slayer! They have been a bunch a mean, fast and heavy bastards for all of their career. I simply love those fuckers. I mean when carnut and me saw them in Belgium I realized that they were the shit man. Hard-core thrash metal up your fucking ass!!
I still worship "Reign In Blood" as the ultimate thrash album. I have yet to find an album that expresses better the awesome power that is Thrash!!

Metallica sold out, Anthrax between the rap and the stuff they're doing now, no way. As for Slayer...is definitively not my cup of tea. So by elimination Megadeth.

ANTHRAAAAAX!!!!!!! Fistful Of Metal! Spreading the Disease! Among the Living! State of Euphoria! PERSISTENCE OF MOTHER FUCKING TIME!!!!! Hell, even Sound of White Noise! All killer albums! Anthrax were superior band during that time, IMO. Even if they just released Persistence Of Time, they'd still be the kings. Seriously one of the greatest albums EVER.

If you're doubting Megadeth, then poke smot and listen to SFSGSW's Set The World Afire, 502, or Liar.

I'd be stupid to doubt Megadeth! They kick ass, but IMO Anthrax during their prime was better than any of the other 3 bands in their prime.

Y'know as an Anthrax fan, it really gets to me how much people mention the fact that they've flirted with rap and dismiss them for it. They've done TWO RAP SONGS!!! TWO!! One of them was a PARODY! And NEITHER of them are on a main studio album, either! Oh my god, end of the fucking world! It's thinking like that that gives metal fans a bad name! Jesus Christ on a stick! And by the way, i'm not bagging on anyone in particular, before anyone here gets all pissy. I just felt this was a good oppertunity to get that off my chest.

I've never really listened to MEgadeth much, they're ok just not my favorites.
Slayer kicks ass, but I prefer Metallica because they're just the ones who made me listen to metal in the first place, plus 'Kill Em All' is a great album.

Had to go with Slayer. Still putting out awesome shit and they are fucking great live. Actually all of them are great live. Now that they have Dave back in the band I can't wait for the new release! That's my only beef with them is that they are slow as fuck when it comes to releasing albums.

Their aren't too many bands that can top the four classics in a row that they put out (if I have to list them then you probably shouldn't be on this forum :Spin: ).
