What's everyone's top old school thrash or crossover albums?

I like...in no particular order...

Rust in Peace & Peace Sells-Megadeth
Ride the Lightning-Metallica
The Legacy-Testament
Speak English or Die-SOD
Gross Misconduct-MOD
Cowboys from Hell & Vulgar Display-Pantera

Some of those are questionable but it's all about the same era.

Slayer - Reign In Blood (cliche but I'm a huge Slayer fan so Im biased)
Metallica - ... And Justice For All
Megadeth - Rust In Peace
Testament - The Legacy
Anthrax - Spreading The Disease
OVERKILL :)rock:) - Under the Influence
Exodus - Bounded By Blood

I like Possessed, but I don't think many folks consider that "thrash". I would then go for Evil Dead..for obvious reasons :)

Right. I would've included Hell Awaits on there too but the list was thrash in general and RIB is thrashtastic. I didnt list the cross-over stuff cause it's hard (for me) to list such great shit like SOD, MOD, DRI , Cro-Mags, Suicidal, ect...

Destruction - Sentence of Death & Infernal Overkill
Kreator - Pleasure to Kill & Endless Pain
VoiVod - s/t, Killing Technology
Slayer - Show No Mercy & Hell Awaits
DRI - Dealing With It
Exodus - Bonded By Blood
Dark Angel - Darkness Descends

Metallica-Ride The Lightning
Megadeth-R.I.P
Dark Angel-Time Does Not Heal
Death Angel-The Ultra Violence
Anthrax-P.O.T.
S.O.D.-Speak English or Die
Testament-The Legacy
Vio-lence-Eternal Nightmare
DRI-Crossover
Kreator-Extreme Aggression
Sodom-Agent Orange
Nuclear Assault-Game Over
Fear Factory-Soul of a new machine(not really thrash)

I totally forgot about Destruction. Classic thrash :headbang:

At no point since I first got Infernal Overkill in(what was it?) 1987 or so, has it ever failed to kick my ass! That album still makes my hair stand on end at some point with every listen:headbang: :kickass:

I was considering Nuclear Assault but, to be honest they always came across so weak on vinyl, compared to how great they were live(used to see them all the time at L'Amour in Brooklyn back in the mid 80's.) Actually, The Plague was a solid record(ep) now that I think on it. If you've ever heard their pre-Game Over demos ala "Live,Suffer,Die"(w/Betrayal, Radiation Sickness, Demolition,etc.)...now they kicked serious ass!! Ahhh, the good ol days!

Anyone remember bands like Wargasm, Blessed Death, Assassin, Coroner, Whiplash, Hallow's Eve, etc? Christ, that seems like a lifetime ago...

I couldnt think of any bands when I posted. I was so drunk off margaritas that the local illegal immigrants make that when I saw my name I was like oh yeah thats a band!
