Best opening Maiden song...

For a large, outdoor concert, Aces High is definitely the way to go. For small, indoor clubs, I like the tone that Ides of March/Wratchild sets. It just feels in place at a bar/club setting, with a song like Aces High following along a bit later. That's just me, does anyone else get what I'm talking about?

yeah, the older stuff is more raw and in your face like a small club - definately. hahha especially if you don't get a sound check. after a couple songs tho the sound settles down. where eagles dare - that'd be cool to hear as the set opener.

Well Sara.........Y'all could do it.

Aces and some of the others made good production piece intro's with Churchills speech type stuff, but back in th POM days they were less high tech so WED kicked ass, alone.

Still my favorite opening going on 20 years later.
