surely u have ur low and highpass mixed around?

i try to keep it as simple as possible to, something like DI - Gate - TSS - revalver - waves IR - then send both left and right panned guitars to a bus with some multiband compression maybe, and a bit EQ...... well ok it's not like a super short chain but i feel i can do everything with that

What's the difference between doing the LP/HP per track vs. doing it in a guitar bus? I'm certain there IS a difference, but for the sake of efficiency, do most of you just do that kind of stuff on the group bus for the guitars? What about stuff like exciters and shit... per track or group, and why? =)

I also usually just stick with HP/LP and some dips here and there if the material needs it. Example of said dips could be reducing pick attack or unnecessary string rattle. Sometimes I'll also stick a multiband comp in there too, if the low mids need taming, but for the most part, it's just eq.

If the rhythms are with the same guitar etc. I'll stick the plugins to a bus, if they're different I'll do the eq'ing individually.

btw disregard my earlier post

fucking TSS + SoloC + boogex w/ recabinet impulses = the br00tulz

I'm new to all of this plug-in frenzy and your chain looks like what I'm doing right now. For me it is Simulanalog SD-1 + 8505 + Poulin LeCab.

I'd like more infos on your settings and cab impulses you use.
