Fantomas - Suspended Animation
Subterranean Masquerade - Suspended Animation Dreams

2nd tier:
Strapping Young Lad - Alien
Steve Vai - Real Illusions: Reflections
Busdriver - Fear Of A Black Tangent

'Real Illusions' contains some of the best songs of 2005, but Steve doesn't have the same consistency over the whole album. We'll see how the rest of the year pans out. There are some super-highly anticipated releases, but I don't think 'Blood Inside' will be beaten for me. The first tier albums are all really close though.
