What do you think was the best song of 2005 ??
For me it's "Raze" from Exodus. Hard, energetic, agressive, sharp guitar work, good ol' oldschool thrash !!!
Folow ups should be
Nevermore : Enemies of Reality
Kamelot : Moonlight
Pantommind : Why
Pagan's Mind - Celestial Calling

Easy one for me..... Redemption - "Trancendence" I was starting to get a little bored with Ray Alder, after the last few FW releases. He proverd to me, he is still one of the best vocalists out there and redemption is a band to be reconned with in the Prog-metal world.

Damn I have a few but I can't decide for just one:

Sabaton - 'Primo Victoria'
Bruce Dickinson - 'Navigate The Seas Of The Sun'
Iommi - 'I Go Insane'
Rata Blanca - 'Guitarra Española'
Candlemass - 'Seven Silver Keys'
Helloween - 'My Life For One More Day'

For me it is " Supremacy, Our Kind" from Pagan's Mind album "Enigmatic: Calling"

Great choice !! Probably number two or three for me as well. When I first got the newest Pagans Mind disc, I practically had to wear it out. The production and tonality was so incredible, everything else I played after it sounded like shit. I need to memorize their Producer's (and Engineer's) name because I think Tom Schultz and "Mutt" Lange have found the rightful heir to pass the torch to. I have yet to hear a band's sound engulf me like Pagans Mind in their last two efforts.

I Go Insane - Iommi
I'm glad this song was sung by Hugues and did not end on a new Sabbath record.

Also :
Absolution - Biomechanical
Enemy of God - Kreator
Spellbreaker - Candlemass
Supremacy, Our Kind - Pagan's Mind
Moonlight - Kamelot
Lochness - Judas Priest
Sentient6 - Nevermore
...

AWESOME SONG! That's my favorite on the whole album and definitely one of my faves of this year. I'm gonna try to get my buddies who are in a cover band to add Jesse Jane to their setlist. I bet I can even get the bass player to wear a wedding dress during that tune!

NP: Nevermore - This Godless Endeavor
