Best strings for drop c?

I'm recording a metal band today, and I'm not much of a guitarist. But I'm making a stop at GC to pickup a few packs of strings. And was just curious what kind I should pickup for drop c?

0.12's or at least some hybrid ones. I'm using Daddario X-Heavy bottom and medium tops on my Schecter. Switched from Ernie Balls and I highly recommend them

Depends on the neck's scale, setup and the feel you like

On a gibson type I used d'addario 12-60, whereas in 25'5" necks I just used a 11-56.

But I like tension in the wound strings so give it a try with different gauges.

We'll be using my LTDs and Idk really know the size of it ha. And I'm won't be back for a while to check

i use 54s for drop C, but im thinking about moving up to 56s to help with tuning etc

Just so everyone knows I went with Ernie ball beefy. I bought a few different ones though. Te beef, not even, and d'addario. I couldn't decide when I was there haha.

Ernie ball 12-56 "not even slinky" - good tensity, nice sound.
