i was wondering if anyone had an opinion about this, would it be smarter to invest money into high end mic's for recording a mesa boogie single recto, or just buy something like a engl 530 or pod hd pro.
just wondering what you guys think would sound better, obviously impluse tracks would be used with the engl 530.
im currently using a pod ux2, so if i bought an engl 530. i would be using the pod like a sound card.
