Bias Modded 5150 Clips

Threw together a couple clips this morning. I think I may have went overboard with the bass on the first clip? What do you guys think? Excuse the haggard playing as usual.

i think they both have too much gain, but the second one is more reasonable. The first one has a bit too much bass. They sound pretty damn close to arch enemy tone. The playing isn't that bad either.

Yeah, that old Arch Enemy tone had a lot of bass anyways, namely Stigmata. Thanks for checking it out man!

Sounds pretty fizzy to me dude, but it's hard to judge without drums and bass I guess.

Mega5150... what volumes was the 5150 at?

Did you use stock TAT pickups?

Is that what AE used on Stigmata (pickups)?

I had the volume on 1. And yeah, stock TAT pickups. PH-R in the bridge, PH-F in the neck.

Chris used his old Iceberg TAT on Stigmata, with the stock pickups. PH-R in the bridge and 2 VS-1 single coils (he later changed the neck pickup to a Duncan HotRail). Mike used his Burny Les Pauls, not sure what pickups he had, but I assume they were stock, which would have been a Fernandes VH-1. And of course they used a 5150 and some kind of V30 loaded cab.

Hmm, doesn't really sound fizzy to me. I'm going to do a longer Dark Of The Sun clip with drums sometime soon though.
