Load,re-load were not bad for what they were. St.Anger on the other hand just plain out blows.

Teh Grimarse said:what i'm saying is, i could pretty much come up with at least a handful of acts i enjoy from any given genre. i enjoy at least one power metal band (blind guardian), but i find most similar bands to be sub-par artistically. it's not the "sound" i dislike, it's the general lack of orginality/creativity in it's practitioners. but if i heard a really amazing power band i wouldn't deny them on the basis of their chosen style. talent is talent no matter how it is expressed.
SO
saying "i dont like this kind of music" is stupid. there is no exuse for not enjoying a band that is good.
and "good" is not an opinion, it's a measurement of ability.
and so on.
Teh Grimarse said:The reason most bands sound the same and are also crap is because they aren't trying to create anything, they're just immitating what they have heard before.
