I have no clue who Billy Milano is, but judging from reading the title of this thread, he sounds like an ass. And I never liked any of the Bush-era stuff.

Well, I'm not sad just pissed. I just don't understand why they just don't knuckle down and do a fucking record and worry about a singer after they make it.

^Well that's kind of what they're doing now. It's just the whole CDC thing pisses me off. They never update it anymore and when they do. No information about anything except for what Scott did over the weekend..

That is pretty much how everybody feels right now, reidie. I don't think anyone spends all their time worrying about the band.
It is sad, though; the band's series of unfortunate events. (No book reference intended) All because the "core" members, as they call themselves, can't conduct business well at all. And calling themselves the "core" members doesn't help any. It gives the impression that everyone else doesn't matter. And that obviously isn't a good way to run a band. Everybody needs to be equal. A band should be democratic in a way: everybody should be important and contribute whatever they can.

I wonder what their actual jobs are?...like how they make a living to make ends meet day to day. Not touring and not producing records in an age of musical oversaturation can't be pocket friendly...record sales is a competition between kids...everyone and their brother is getting a record deal or self producing... I'm sure royalties are minimal...how do they survive?

I'm not busting your balls or anything, but you don't know who Milano is and you're on the Anthrax forums?
Maybe I'm just an old geezer, but how young does one have to be not to know who Milano is, and how important he has been to the history of metal/thrash metal?
Regardless of whether you like him or not, Milano does have a place in OUR history, not only as Anthrax fans, but as metal fans in general.
Billy has always been an ass, that's nothing new. He's also been pretty much spot on for years, regarding a lot of shite.

All I know is that if they do a reality T.V. show in search of a new singer, it would be the last straw for me. I may be a disgruntled fan but at least I'm still a fan. Patience is a key ingredient in being a fan of this band. Remember how long it took between Volume 8 and WCFYA?? WCFYA was being touted as a comeback album even though they were never really gone.

It sounds like they have been talking about it according to you. Are they? That is almost as lame as when they opened for slipnot and had no lead player. They was just dumb.
What the hell? Important to the history of metal? The guy fronted an anthrax SIDE PROJECT. People don't know who he is because of any artistic contributions, the only reason anyone knows his name is because of who he's been associated with. He's the kato kaelin of metal. further, this is proven by his need to constantly drop anthrax members' names in order to get any kind of buzz.

You make an interesting point. I guess you could say that Billy Milano is kinda the Kato Kaelin of metal. Anthrax is OJ and the collective careers of Anthrax members would be Nicole Brown Simpson.

funny thing is anthrax is still more viable doing nothing than milano is doing anything.
