7 strings are like women with real big hooters.
I guess I'm pretty lucky when I've got both a sevenstring and a woman with really big hooters then.. ?
(could'nt help it.. )

Yeah... that's basically what I'm saying. So you're saying that because Epi's are made in China they are worse?
Wouldn't that mean that a Korean made Agile is technically *better* quality than an Epiphone with the same specs? And possibly even better than an LTD?
Just because you played an ESP that you did not like means that ESP's suck. That is a fact.I dont have much ltd experience cause I've played two esp's that sucked. And if you think epis are chinese crap your misinformed too, as I was 2 months ago.

I have one of those Prophecy Epi's pictured above. And it has actually become my main live guitar recently, though owning guitars that are waaay more expensive (like an USA Dean etc.).
I've beaten the living hell out of it (smashed the bridge pickup through the frame into the cavity, teared a strap-lock off, ripped a poti off, smashed it into a face...) and it still delivers!
Quality hardware, woods and pickups, good construction - I'll agree on many Epi's being far off the bang-for-the buck that some LTD's are, but these thingies compete VERY well.
BTT: If I was going the 7-String route, I'd highly favor the Loomis sig. It's awesome.
If the higher-end Epiphones are made in Korea and the lower-end ones are made in China, doesn't that kinda prove my point that Korean guitars are better?
And to be honest, I haven't tried the Epiphone LP Customs. You might be right about that one... are the Prophecys also Korean?
Surely the build process, machinery, labour skill and quality control of the individual factory has far more of an impact than it's geographical location or the nationality of the staff?

Oh and I forgot the key point: how much the brand name is willing to pay the factory to build it for them.

Ok, I must admit you got me there.
