i just got back from bm and saw a post about Lars's house on sale...i thought this shit was supposed to be about music??? then you get to read everybody's hate for a guy who just earned money and spend it like every other american would do. Except for a few interesting post here and there the rest is worth shit. is music really dying at all levels, from tv, radio, cd, dvd to the internet???? isnt there someone out there with musical talent who can actualy make some change happen? or maybe some business dude who's hungry for benjamins willing to try out a new format of some sort to maybe save what is left of music...

no it probably didnt...and its not hurting anyone else....their record sales sucks simply bcs the music isnt good enough. if internet downloading was such a big issue, how come hiphop is always #1 in the billboard charts and not anything else?

Go and see the Metallica Documentary Some Kind of Monster this summer. The part where Lars auctions off around 10 million worth of art, so he can go and buy a 20 million (not actual amount but close enough) painting will make you sick. Thats why I only download first, and if I like it I buy second.
