Yesterday I've seen blaze live here in milan!!!
Great show, that man is really crazy, if he hadn't the barrier that divides the stage from the ballroom he was for sure singing among the crowd ahahahaa he's totally fucking crazy, when he sings he's like possesed ehehehe
Anyway great sound, the italian guy who's taking the guitar duties is really great, just 23 but he's really a great shredder. He played through a peavey JSX, oliver the other guitarrist had a triplexxx.
I loved the sound they had, very big and thick, those peavey amps cut through the mix very well, basically jsx is really the same as the triplexxx I don't see this difference in price, and I say that the clean in the triplexxx is as good as the one on the jsx, despite what people say.....
But one important thing that I miss is the groove that Steve, John, Rob and Jeff had, the new guys are really technical, maybe better than the original lineup, but the original had a lot of attitude/feeling/groove and composed really great songs.
I'm happy with what they're doing now with rise to addiction, I have an original copy of their demo , and I'm really enjoying the new stuff they're doing, their new singer is very good, but I liked better H Armstrong.
Andy will you produce the next Blaze record?
Maurizio
