Blood Alliance UK Tour Part 2!

It would be really cool to play the Winding Wheel but I'm not sure they book bands for headlining shows there.

I've had a look at the website and the only Music show that's appearing is Neville Staple but it says that show has changed to an as of yet unconfirmed venue.

Might be worth looking into though!

Going back to The Winding Wheel in Chesterfield, I was talking to a Taxi Driver in Chesterfield last night who says he doesn't understand why Bands seldom get booked to play there.

He mentioned that The Levellers have played their twice in fairly recent years, both times selling out and the crowd loving it and went on to say he doesn't see why any bands who are likely to play "mid-level" venues so to speak, such as Corporation, Rock City, Rescue Rooms couldn't play there and get decent crowds.

Not sure if it's down to the venue itself or whether most bands have just not noticed it as a possibility.

Edit: Speaking to a friend about this yesterday, he says basically the most likely reason hardly any bands play there is because it is really expensive.

It is with great regret that we have to announce the cancellation of the show in Crewe on November 26th.

This is due to the venue having structural problems and not being safe for live performances. We will be endeavouring to arrange another show for this date as soon as possible.

I imagine that's the case, I remember having a similar conversation with someone about it years ago. The only bands I see advertised there are tribute bands :/
