I can see this board has been dead as fuck for nearly a decade. Just a couple of regulars popping in once every few months. A lot of boards on UM are the same. I just decided to make it slightly less dead for a while. Don't worry... while I may keep replying to others, I'll be giving up on talking to myself soon enough.

Well, what topics do you all natter about elsewhere online these days?

I think I'll always maintain that these bulletin board forums were the pinnacle of online interactions / 'social media'. So whenever you can be bothered clicking on here, why not make a couple of posts about your topics of choice?

Forums are my discussion places of choice. I like the fact that a thread can be made in 2007 and people still post in it. I live in hope that they have a resurrection at some point.

Hello hello, what's been happenin'? There are too many tours next month. Anyone going to any of them?

In November I'm planning to see Metallica/Evanescence/Suicidal Tendencies, Toody Cole, and a buttload of Kiwi bands as usual including the return of Beastwars (they're playing Australia too so get into it if you can). For non-music I'm seeing Harry Enfield!

I could see myself enjoying Blood Incantation despite not really listening to them, but with so much other stuff to enjoy I just don't feel the need. Maybe they'll come back with material that catches my ear a bit more.
