Blown away!

There's talent for sure. But it's blown out of proportion by a lot of smoke & mirrors. Overall, was a boring solo musicwise with about a minute of it actually being nice to hear. The way he plays is cool and all but I'd much rather have a better song. Of course, I'm more a fan of melody so something like this will never really hold my ear. It was just way too repetative for my taste.
I once went to a show where the rhythm guitarist kept throwing the guitar over his shoulder so it'd swing around. He'd play a note between every swing. It looked fairly cool but he was still a shit guitarist.

It's just a medley of guitar solos written by different people with some shredding inbetween. I won't deny the man's talented but that was just so boring. Leave massive solo's for the studio, it's just boring live.

N.B. If a solo is written in to song and then performedm, that's ok. But random Bass, Guitar, Drum or Keyboard solo's in te middle of a gig or just boring.

very true. I think at least some parts of the video are fake, cool though it is. and i'm not -that- impressed by it

Is it wrong I spent 99% of the time more interested in either the drums, bass, or his retarded hairdo that I never really paid attention to what the guitar was playing?
