About the hatred in Balkans, well, I don't think anyone thought it would all be peaceful after all those years in war and those slaughterfests (of especially Muslims, I would think).

The same thing is with Greece and Turkey, for example. They fought a bitter war and nothing was healed afterwards; although Greece was not the only minority to gain independence from Ottoman Empire (all the Balkans and nearly all Middle East + North African countries gained their independence from the Ottomans)

Greeks and Turks are incredibly alike, they look more or less the same, they have the same foods as their "national, traditional foods" - yet the two countries and their people feel a bitter hatred for each other. It's ridiculous.

Surely same with the hatred in Balkans, where two groups lived together for centuries and as a result have become very similar to each other, yet they all have hatred against each other. It's really ridiculous.

I believe Mikael wrote somewhere that her real name was Valborg, so Bojan must be a nickname. I know that BOJAN is solely a South Slavic name.
