Yardley's not home yet, but she got a promo of Legend of the Bone Carver in the mail (she's on the Street Team). I know it's a Federal offence, but I opened it anyway.

IT ROCKS!

Can't wait for the purchased version to show up too.
 
Glad you guys got the Promo copy, and your right IT ROCKS, and thanks to all of you on the street team for getting the word out. We will see you guys at PPVII, and have a little get together for all the street team members and their significant others.

I got my copy of the Bone Carver today from Lance. This is a great Album. If you have not allready, order it when you can. \m/
 
I dunno...I think I may like it more than TIC..but TIC is my lowest rated EG album as well (not counting MMA..I won't rate that one right now)...tough call right now though...we'll see....but yeah it doesn't touch NFiME...but theres very few albums that do top it so...

No one did.. its just Yippee38 felt it was necessary to state that it -wasn't- better.

However... this new pyramaze concept album is UP there with NFIME, when I think about great concept albums.

I'm new to this site and these posts, but am so moved by the quality of this album, that I just had to put in my two cents.

This album, finally released after a delay since last September, absolutely shreads! As good as their first album was (which I rate @ 5 stars), this one blows it away in its "completeness". I am a big fan of concept albums and this one is up there with Operation Mindcrime and Scenes From A Memory. The music alone is tight and crisp, the mix of vocals and instruments is top-notch, with the stellar lyrics (sung by Lance) really communicate and compliment the passion expressed by the music.

While the songs can be seen as stand-alone songs, the quality of the album is reflected when taken in its entirety as what it is - a narrative, set to some tight and awsome progressive metal. No one does it any better than Pyramaze did on this album, and I cannot wait for the next.:yell:

This album will not disappoint - this is an album that should become a reference disk for lyrics, vocals, instruments, and mix - this is the complete package!:wave:
 
I got Bone Carver today and it blew me away on first listen. The band sounds awesome, with the guitars and keys really bringing the songs up a notch, and Lance sounds great. Excellent mixing. I like it better than Melancholy Beast, the songs are wayyyyy catchy, esp. Ancient Words Within.
