So when I heard Opeth was playing at the Avalon in Hollywood I was so pissed they were going to play in that shitty venue. The reasons why this place sucks dick for metal are these...unless the security is different for metal show...
When me and my girlfriend saw Porcupine Tree there a few years back for the Fear of A blank Planet tour, two songs into it they escorted my girlfriend and I into the security booth because she was "bumping" people. The crowd seemed to be older people and I can't believe they'd complain about a hot girl accidently bumping into you for the heavy parts! Jesus this was a rock concert. so we were let back out and immediately after she danced again and bumped people and so we were kicked out... and I called them faggots, pussies, etc. They said they feared for her safety and that she might pass out because she was drunk. So she was, but so are many others and no she was not going to pass out. B.S. So we payed to hear barely like 3 songs and my girlfriend cried the rest of the night and I tried to console her and I fear for those seeing Opeth and Enslaved there on the 16th that the security at this fucked up conservative venue will kick people out for moshing too rough. So I warn all you going that either you all mosh, They can't kick everyone out! or riot against these no good conformist corporate pussies! I'm going to see them in Pomona instead I refuse to support this fascist venue anymore!
