I don’t know how any of you can listen to “In the White Fields” and say that Vemod is better musically. I love Vemod, but it’s the same minimalist ambient/black metal that has been done 100 times before. No one sounds like Obsequiae. His songs also contain developed, intricate compositions which do not rely on repeating the same 3-5 sections for the duration of a 13 minute song.
