Hey there.
As my work is soon over and I'll be getting my money, I decided to ask some help because I'm mostly going to spend that money on CD's. So, recommend me brutal death metal bands and their best albums. Samples would be nice too, but not necessary.

Thanks :)

Brutal eh? Well, what with the mini revival it's getting ATM, give Incision's new album (Beneath the folds of flesh) a try, or Kronos "Titans Awakening". I think Soul Torture are pretty brutal too... But I dislike brutal death metal so can't be any further help.. those were just albums I got sent to review :)

Well, here are something what I consider brutal...
AUTOPSY: Mental Funeral
Very dirty-sounding and sick material. Sometimes also distressing slow and sludgy. Reifert's drumming and vocals are inimitable.
THE BERZERKER: debut album and forth coming second assault
One of the most brutal bands nowadays. They mix industrial and grindparts and have very original sound. http://www.theberzerker.com
ROTTEN SOUND: Murderworks
More grind core, but anyway, it rocks like hell! They've got maybe the fastest drummer in Finland, so you can expect fast and hellis ride... http://www.rottensound.com
VOMITORY: Revelation Nausea; Blood Rapture
Good ol' Swedish Death, but it has also some grind parts. No mercy, just brutal bludgeon... http://www.vomitory.net
Also classics like Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide and Morbid Angel are trustworthy, but every REAL metalhead owns their all albums already, right? :)

And of course, my band MENTAL TERROR is also superior! Check the songs and buy our record!"!

get some Amon Amarth! doesnt matter which album, you cant go wrong with amon amarth! "once sent from the golden hall" is my favourite though..

I recommend Iniquity's latest release, "Grime."

They're the band from the infamous growl karaoke which can be seen here if you like.

You can also hear samples from some of their other albums by going here.

The vocals are hilarious, and the music kicks ass. What more could you want? :)

I'm sure (almost) every Opeth fan knows Amon, since they used to have Lopez as their drummer. And besides, Amon is _melodic_ death, not brutal. ;)

Deeds of Flesh
Iniquity
Vomitory
Krabathor
Dying Fetus (Purificatoon Through Violence is the only really great one)
local SD band Gutrot is pretty decent...

Neuraxis is WAY brutal, from Canada
Immolation

Oooohhhh, thank you ^^ *writes down names* Have to check what this poor record store here has to offer..

Oh, melodic death metal is also welcome, hehe ;)

i 2nd sadistik IMMOLATION-close to a world below , guitars are alittle different so are the drums but still a good band , and release. and vader.....i really only like bands of this genre that try to distance themselves from the others , mabey vader doesnt but i still like them....

..sth. old is Adramelech - psychostasia ..but hard to get ..but they come from FI, so it will be easier for you to get it..and then you send it to me, hehe ;)...because I only listened to it when I was in FI last time..
..otherwise..
Bloodbath - breeding death
Necrophobic - bloodhymns
Vomitory - blood rapture
Non Exist - deus deceptor
Decapitated - nihility

I seem to remember you voting Amorphis off the 'Band Survivor' thread all the time (to my detriment) bacause you said you hadn't heard anything by them? And I believe you just mentioned the want/need for some melodic death metal as well.......

Well, what better time to get your grubby little mitt's on a copy of either 'Elegy' or 'Tales From The Thousand Lakes' by Amorphis? And if your still looking for brutal death metal as well, don't forget that the further you go back into Amorphis's catalogue, the more brutal it gets (particularily the vocals). So.........

Meh, whatever. :p

Zeanra, Do yourself a favor and get Entombed´s "Clandestine" (oldie but historical death 1991 death metal album). If you don´t have it yet, now is your chance :)
