So I've heard you dudes and dudettes rave about Buckethead's solo material, but never felt moved to listen to any of it. I recently downloaded the song "Coma", due to the guest appearance of Azam Ali, who I recently became a big fan of. Please advise where I should start my endeavor into Buckethead's music.

Maybe you should start with his Buckethead and Friends album, for all the other neat-o cameos

These 3 are absolutely ace choices. Colma definitely has a more mellow vibe but I still love it.

I don't think there's anything really wrong with him, it's just a character. See him without the bucket and the mask and he's just a regular dude. Kinda good looking, too

Seems kind of strange to me. You would think the persona he gives off would get old to himself after a while. Good guitarist, but I wouldn't even bother going into his twenty-something discography

Burning question. "Scapula" on M&R, track 11. WTF is that "What's up shlami/salami?" that is being said at the beginning of the song and throughout??!?

Kinda like Zappa there... says random things that make no sense that reoccur throughout the song/album as part of a large hidden joke.

but Zappa was making sense, but pretty hard to understand...i love the work of Zappa, listen too Captain Beefheart if you wanna hear random stuff...them he is weirder then Zappa

i saw him like a year and a half ago. he played for like 2.5 hours, it was amazing. he also does the robot and flips around nunchucks and stuff while he's shredding and throws toys out to the audience. weird guy.
