Have you tried the current Genelec 80XX series? Much better than the discontinued 10XX series.

Yep, just didn't mention them cause they're so butt-ugly
(or I just forgot mentioning them ).

I think I'll just grab a reference-cd and walk into the store to check different models out for several hours.
