Burzum on Candlelight?

But then again Dark Funeral is on that site, and I don't think they've ever been with Candlelight. Regain & No Fashion, I think.

Dont' be too pessimistic, I'm interested to see what he's going to do with Burzum when he gets out of jail. It's been a long time since he's played Black Metal and his interpratation of it now may be quite different.

He doesn't like black metal, from the last interview I read.

It depends when the interview was dated. There was a good bit of time where he had nothing positive to say about Metal in general but most recently he's said something along the lines of "New Burzum will probably sound like old Burzum".

I use to hate Burzum & now thing it's great. Varg's playing really is moving when you really get into it.

The second album stands out the most from any i've heard from him.

Yeah, he changes his mind quite a bit. But I doubt he's getting released anytime soon, regardless of how optimistic he is.

He's actually been pretty consistant with his opinions the past few years. And in regards to him being released, I'm not sure, I don't know how the parole system in Norway works. I would think his little escape in 2003 would not look good on his request.

He's getting out in April. And he's most likely going to try to sound like Hvis Lyset Tar Oss and fail. And that will be the end.

He talked about an electric album or something in some interview, but evidently he wants to get some money - which is normal. I still hope he won´t do another black metal retro. Freezing electronic ambient could be nice.

lol... do you ever go outside of your bedroom KID?

talk to me when you'll become a man instead of a nerds.

You realize your average number of posts per day isn't even 1 less than his?

That Burzum news (or lack of) is definitely interesting. I hope he does something more like Det Som Engang Var. I didn't like the following records quite as much. It would definitely be interesting to hear what someone who hasn't heard black metal in 10 years does with it.
