Burzum signs to Candlelight?

My previous question about anyone wanting to hurt him wasn't facetious by the way -- the fact is, he killed Euronymous. Doesn't Euronymous have friends and relatives looking to exact their revenge? I would expect there are some wackos out there, even if it was just for that 15 minutes of fame. "I was the man that killed Varg" sorta thing.

yeah i doubt anyone will touch him though. imo if anything happens he's more likely to be assaulted by some common nobody indoctrinated by norwegian media propaganda about "satanism" and "nazism" than some member of the "black metal" "scene"
 
I don't know anything about Euronymous tbh, but I'll give this hypothetically:

Your son is murdered. The news makes the press and said murderer becomes a celebrity. He goes to jail for 13 years, continues to sell albums -- strengthened further on the media frenzy around the murder of your son, and then one day he's released...

Someone out there must have a bone to pick.

EDIT: Btw, I know I'm only speculating but it's just food for thought -- not intending to start a flame war or anything.

sure. this doesn't really seem likely to me. what you fail to introduce into the equation is the mindset of your average scandinavian man today... people do not have guns, people do not think in terms of revenge a lot.
 
But it's not the "average man" we're talking about, is it?

I mean, the average man anywhere doesn't have guns, think about revenge, etc. I was under the impression we were thinking of the "extreme" example here.
 
sure, you're right, but if we're talking PROBABILITY of this happening, i find the probability low. probably lower than somewhere like iraq (the whole YOU DISHONOURED MY FAMILY deal) or usa (where everyone has a gun!)

the U.S., as you're prolly already aware, is very different split between 1) the northeast/west coast and 2) the south/midwest

Might as well be 2 different countries
