Bush and Rob

just an off hand comment, but this is the only place you'll find an overwhelming suport for Bush over an alturnitive on the internet. normally most people cant stand him....

wait, what? they're 2 diffrent people with the same last name?! NO WAY!!!!!!

Like you should trust Scott's blog.

If this reunion tour works well, then figure out for yourself what they'll do, folks.

as much as I love John Bush, he is far from perfect as a live vocalist...lots of cracks, sour notes, off key quite a bit..... He struggles alot on MOMD... and his voice on the early Saint records had way more power and range. Still one of rocks best vocalists either way. I am happy to say I like 'thrax with either Bush or Belladonna.. face it ..niether of these guys are Dio or Halford in a live situation.( who's voices are spot on after decades)

sad but true...I have tried to get so many of my friends to listen to WCFYA but most of them could care less about a Joey-less anthrax or even the band in general...with 3 weeks notice Harpo's was pretty full and there was tons of excitemnet in that crowd...I heard young kids talk about how they were too young to see this lineup and Persisitence of Time is what got them into the band..they were really excited...People talk about how John makes them so current...but kids arent really in touch with either singer to be honest with you... and can you blame them?..these guys are both in there 40's

If the WCFYA lineup made any sort of impact in the USA , I doubt we would be seeing this reunion....Unless The ATL guys have absolutely no chemistry left and hate each other , I would almost bet they will record new music.

Hasent Bush just had a kid. As a dad of a 17 month kid myself, I wouldnt like to be touring the world missing the first steps, words an all that sorta stuff. That was the reason I heard Thrax were suposed to be taking a break. So if thats true I for one dont expect him back anytime soon. If it was me, and I had the money he's made from being in the band, I'd be taking loads of time of aswell.
As for if he's ever gonna be back, thats for the guys in the band to decide. If you are a true fan of Thrax then you'll stand by there choice, and follow them whoever is in the line up.
Ive been a fan since the early '80's and seen a few changes since then, and I can remember this shit being talked about but then it was all 'Bring back Joey' 'Bush Is crap'. In that time one thing always stayed the same, they keep making fantastic music, and in the end aint that what realy matters.

Sadly, I bet you´re 100% right.

BINGO. And it isn't like the public is dying for an ATL line-up recording. Charlie is delusional if he thinks this is going to go over well. It's not like we're talking about a super-group like KISS or Van Hagar. Charlie always seemed like such a class act, it's a shame his "people" have gotten into his head...... :erk:

We are not talking about Maiden or Priest either.

If you think Bush is loaded with cash and doesn't need to work, you're crazy.

Okay ZTPioneer maybe you think I should shut the fuck up. But, I'm not the one on the board insisting John Bush is gone. At least I'm not here everyday crying about it. If you are an Anthrax fan then embrace what they are doing unless you absolutely hate Joey. If you hate him then go listen to something else or just keep listening to your Bush CDs. I think the beauty of any message board is stating your opinion. But you just keep spouting off at the mouth about it and it has gotten really redundant and pathetic. According to some of you people if it ain't Bush then it ain't Anthrax. Well it is Anthrax. It was in 1987. And it is today. If you are a serious Bush era only Anthrax fan then it must really be disappointing not to know if the man is in or out. If you hate Joey then fine but quit whining about it until we know for sure!
I think everyone is doing what you're telling them to. They are listening to something else. They are remembering Bush and Rob. And they are voicing that they don't like what Anthrax is doing. Mind you, the fans are the ones that ultimately decide whether a band is good or not and this reunion was done "for the fans". Fans don't like it, they're fucked. They got rid of John and Rob for reasons other than creative differences and it's pretty sleazy all around.

And the silence from John and Rob would tend to point you into a certain direction for how they feel. No positive statements yet. In fact, Charlie seems to speak for John in saying that it was his choice. If so, why doesn't he say it? Then what about Rob?
