i think its sad that all these ppl are here now because Belladonna and Spitz are back for a reunion and post shit like that even if you are doing it just to stir ppl. Your the worst kind of fans to me because you turn your backs on a band just because they change their line up. They may have changed singers but the music was always as good as anything theyve done, you just cant see that. Guess it doesnt matter..you'll all be back to your 80's metal loving ways once this tour is done. Bush sings the old songs better and Spitz admitted to his own inability to play lead so why should we get over it?

Best thing of all..at least Anthrax Mosher will leave and go back to his wigga tunes...YES!!!

It wasn't even the same fucking band anymore. It doesn't make someone less of a fan if they lose interest in a band because they get a new singer , guitarist, bassist and change their whole sound.... That isn't turning your back on a band...

this argument is so old and boring now. Metaleugene - grow the hell up.

I am a fan of Belladonna and Bush - personally I prefer Joey but heck stop dissing others for their right to their own choices. We are all Anthrax fans here regardless of era, singer or amount of hair the band members had.

For what its worth the energy that Joey had on stage on Monday night was brilliant. Joey & John are two different ppl with 2 unique styles and I enjoy them both.

Wow, there are some serious anger management issues going here nowadays. I like Among the Living and some of Spreading but that's all from the Bella years. I really dig the Bush/Crook albums. I think Spitz is way over-rated, and his leads on Sound of White Noise were amateurish. Flame on, I don't give a goddamn. These threads are annoying. Of course, if the reunion lineup does a record I will buy it.

Good post my fellow Czech!!! Of course if the reunion lineup does a record, I will download it!

I like 'em both, of course i grew up with the spitz, belladonna line up. So i think its cool their doing this reunion tour. But i dont wish John out of the band & i dont think its fair to judge one singer over the other. I say let the band make up its mind on what their doing. After all its their band. :Smug:

bush and belladonna are two totally different era's as far as anthrax go-i personally think bush is the superior singer and brought anthrax back from the brink of falling into the same whole metallica have dug for themselves.ive been a fan since day one and while the tunes were suited to the band with belladonna singing, when they re-recorded them with bush on gote it shows how versatile bush really is.im goin to check em out at download at donnington and the last thing we need is the headdress and rain dances-it dont take any encoragement to piss down here in england!!!!!!!!!!

I think the real test of how 'good' joey is will be when they announce this as permanent and start playing john era tunes... John did joeys stuff really well, but will it work the other way round? I reckon 'Only' and 'Fueled' will sound good with joey, but beyond that....

I don;t think Bush songs sound good with Joey....Joey tunes didn't sound good with John either.

I agree Joey could do some of the SOWN stuff since that album still slightly resembles the old aANTHRAX style.

really? i think it sounds closer to alice in chains.(possibly because of the producer tho.) I think SOWN is their least heavy album, although im sure everyone will disagree!

SOWN is theire pop album!!!:)

"Only" was pop, no doubt. There were still some kickass songs on the album (Potter´s Field [the best of them], Room For One More, 1000 Points Of Hate) but overall I had the impression that the band was way softer than before. Even Kerry King said in an interview from 1993/94 that Anthrax would be a pop band by now. ;)

I don't care to tell you the truth... I was a huge Armored Saint fan at the same time that I was wearing out my Spreading the Disease and Among the Living tapes... (tapes... sheesh... :loco: ) I had Delirious Nomad and thought that was so highly underrated... Anyway... when I heard Bush got invited to join Anthrax after Joey left I was fuckin ecstatic.. to this day, my favorite album Anthrax has created is We've Come For You All... I went to see Anthrax when they were touring with Motley Crue back in 2000 but to my complete dismay, I found out they were dropped from the tour. I was so fuckin bummed. I thought I'd finally get to see Scott Ian tear it up. What a let down. Instead I got to see the Crue growing rolls right in front of me.. I want to put Anthrax on my web site. Rebel Reviewer Dot Com The next time they cruise through Toronto I will be there no matter who is driving the bus... John or Joey... run me over.
