Anthrax would not be whre it is today without this classic line-up so STFU!

Go to your Blink 182 and Lamb of God concerts this summer then poser

Yeah you're right. They wouldn't be chugging along if it weren't for the fans who've supported them since Bush joined. Thus making it possible for the band to still be alive and kicking in order to have a reunion in the first place.

You're stupid. You're calling him the poser when you're supporting a band for selling out its credibility.

Whatever that means. Bush Anthrax era has NEVER played any large venues/Arenas in the U.S since Joey left

That's called "The '80s are over". No thrash band plays large venues or arenas in the U.S. these days. Wake up and smell the spandex.

That is entirely NOT TRUE. SOWN was Anthrax's highest charting album, and they played several arena's and outdoor ampitheatres in the summer of 1993. They also played a few large venues when they co-headlined with the Misfits in 1996. Places like the Phoenix in Detroit and the IC Light Amp. in Pittsburgh. Check your facts please.

That's funny a few years ago Pantera and Slayer played several large arenas

I saw Anthrax both of those years and they played small clubs in NJ/NYC

The bottom fell out for everyone (but Pantera) around 1995 or 1996.
Slayer headlined arenas on the "Divine" tour, but have since been back to the clubs with a handful of arena's/ampitheatres here and there.
Megadeth started the "Youth" tour in arenas, but wound up in clubs.
Anthrax's summer tour of 1993 was largely arenas, but was scaled back to clubs and theatres.
Pantera are an anomaly. Like maiden and ac/dc they kept their fan base without MTV and radio.
The Pantera/Anthrax tour, and Pantera/Slayer tour were good times!

Read my above post.
Some markets were large shows (Irvine, Cleveland, Montreal were all outdoors or arenas) other cities were clubs and theatres. Point is, the guy said they NEVER played large venues, and that is not true at all.

Yeah, it's called Ozzfest. It's for sellouts. You should look it up.
Uhm, no. Pantera and Slayer did a "festival" of their own called the "Extreme Steel" tour in 2001. It was all indoors, and mostly in non-Ozzfest cities. Check your facts. Morbid Angel, Static X, and Skrape were the openers. And playing Ozzfest, isn't for sell outs. If that is the case, Sepultura, Biohazard, Danzig, TON, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and the like are all sell outs.

I don't think I would say pantera is thrash and seeing as pantera headlined i don't think you can credit the success of the tour with thrash still being the cool thing to do. but it's nice to see everyone getting pisssed about this again.
