anyone know a site online to buy dead marshall cabs?

ie: to make a wall of marshall cabs for image. its going to be for a music video in development for a band i'm helping out.

trying to keep the budget as low as possible so instead of buying actual 1960's im trying to find dead ones.

they dont even need to be full cabs, just half cut dead marshalls

Or even those cardboard foldout things, George Lynch always talked about having a "wall of Marshall cabs" in the trunk of his car! :D

Decent rental places have empty cabs available for hire for this very purpose, I've only got contacts in London though so can't help out any more than that. If you're trying to keep the budget down get in touch with a manufacturer/distributer and see if they'll help out.

Rental places or if there is a factory near you - try phoning them up.

Rental is probably the best bet.. not too expensive to hire real cabs for the day, so fake ones should be pretty cheap.

Factory will be probably be further away, and to be honest will probably involve hiring a van (if you're old enough, cool!) and also might be tricker to secure them.

well i wouldnt mind owning them...kinda...i know it would be shit because they're dead but still! my own wall of marshalls! haha

cheers for the input guys, i dont think we have a marshall factory here. i dont think we have any amp factory in ireland! i'll try calling up some rental kips.

Damn dude, i was about to post the same question, haha.

But my case is that i having the idea to open a pub somewhere in the future, and i want to put a wall of marshalls in the stage, fake of course, just for the feeling of a big live concert, i think they must sell empty cabs, but not sure how to get´em

Or use 'em instead of bar chairs!

Or get Behringer stuff to use as your toilet.. I'd love to take a shit into a Behringer product!

As an audio engineer told me once: "Behringer should have this slogan instead: "Behringer, listen closely, you'll only hear it once"".

Why did I suddenly get the urge to rant on Behringer... it was ages ago since I did that last time... strange. Oh well! *shrugs*

Friends of ours got those directly from Marshall for a video shoot... They accidentally packed a JCM 900, too. When they called Marshall, they said that was a mistake, but they could keep 'em.

Moral of the story? Even Marshall don't want their 900s back. ;)

I found this on google, something like this would probably be easy and cheap to build and would make for cool decoration, I want something like this in my basement lol
